Artist Statement
Creativity has always been a huge impact in my life. Growing up, I have always been the kid who could imagine anything in the world. My fascination for Design, such as Color and Layout organization, has never left me. Being able to discover new approaches and establish new ideas is a trait I don’t just use in my everyday life, but also in my work. My passion for creation is what makes me want to do my best.
For being able to make the most out of my potential I had to learn. I started working with software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. In my first year of college I mastered Photoshop and improved my InDesign skills. Photography came along as well. I like to think that I am unique because of the way I see things. I tend to produce unexpected solutions.
My expertises are color, type and layout. My style is structured and organized but always includes elements that are not typical for the sort of design I am producing. I am really casual, and I like to keep everything casual. Minimalism isn’t something I can live by but definitely gets found in almost all of my work. Personally, I like things to be clean and organized, even though my inner artist leaves such a creative mess.
Overall, my work ethic relies on punctuality, perfectionism and sophistication. I am adaptable to all different kind of workflows. Change helps to let creativity come naturally. Trying out new things, and not staying in my comfort zone all the time is what makes me work hard and passionate about what I do.
